Welcome to the main page of the Rolling Stones Wiki!

The Rolling Stones are quite possibly the most successful musical act in history, in terms of records sold, merchandise sales, and tour grosses, especially on the touring side. They are a multi-Billion dollar earning band. The Rolling Stones "A Bigger Bang" tour (2005/2006) alone took-in $558,000,000! Additionally, the Rolling Stones are neck-in-neck with the Beatles for most Gold Records earned. When you think about it, rock bands today are operating from the Rolling Stones blueprint, not the cheery pop model of some of their early contemporaries. The Rolling Stones are recognized as being not only the Greatest Rock n' Roll Band in the World, but among the greatest show business entertainers of all-time.
